New Socks and a Serious Side

I've added a new feature to my blog. On the side you'll see the WPA UMC Blogroll. The blogs listed here are Methodists, some clergy and some lay people, from throughout our Western Pennsylvania Conference. If you check out these blogs you'll often stumble upon some heated discussion or serious subject matter. However, as often as not, they're acting like complete goofs and talking about comic books. But, I digress. These are some of the people that are nearest and dearest to me. Some I've known for years, some I've never met, and one I even married. They are all doing their best, every day, to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people with whom they come in contact. It's not an easy task. Please join me in praying for them every chance you get. Pray that they have endurance, inspiration, discernment, gentleness, patience, a good sense of humor and a touch of humility (sorry, guys). Pray for their families, friends and flock.

I love you all.

Here's the groovy sock.
(Well, it is a knitting blog after all.)

You are a blessing.

Thanks robyn...you're the best (I mean, after Jesus, and Carla, and of course me, and Shadrach, and, well OK, maybe you're not the best, but you're good...but then again God used the apostle Paul to remind us that there is no one who is good...but anyhow, you're ok, at least...)
