Curling and Purling

Is that title too cute or what? For some unknown reason, my husband is really obsessed with Olympic Curling. Tonight we've been watching the U.S. play Great Britain (which is basically Scotland for this event). The kids and Keith are actually cheering and clapping! It's crazy. Maybe it's so addictive because it's so odd. We also spent some time today watching the Daytona 500. My little guy, Elliot, loves anything with wheels and thought the car race was really cool. He kept pulling out his Hot Wheels cars that matched some of the Nascar cars on the track.

I've realized that I'm spending more time learning how to write this blog about knitting than I am actually knitting. I am making great progress, but I could accomplish so much more! My 15-year-old son, Christian just said while helping to clean up the livingroom..."Gee, Mom, do you think we have enough yarn in this house?" Do you think he was being sarcastic or was he genuinely concerned? After all, it is important to have enough yarn in the house.

Time to get off of here so hubby can use the computer. We're just a bunch of blogging fools!

My bf and his best friend are crazy about curling now b/c of the Olympics! Too funny. I don't have tv so haven't watched any, but I promised to go to a match with him next winter when I move back East.
